My life in five minuets.
A while back I was mentor/trail guide at an outdoor leadership camp, Elevation, that is affiliated with my old school. At said camp the leaders are supposed to do little camp-fire-story-telling type things such as What was you first love? and Tell your life story in five minuets. I was rather proud of what I came up with for my life story and believe that it is highly accurate. Which means I am now sharing it here.
When I was about four I found myself taking a bath in the down-stairs bathroom while my older sister, Natalie, was "watching" me (This meant I was enjoying a lovely game of mermaids with my imagination and witty self while Natcat and her friend were watching Backstreet boy clips on MTV in the family room).
Before I continue there are two details you should be aware of: 1) I adored my dog, Wishbone and 2) I had just learned to tie my shoes and was pretty darn proud of my self.
While taking this luxurious bath/mermaid adventure I decided I was board and figured I would do something to rectify that. Well, next thing I know I had grabbed my dog, and slipped on my white lace-up tennis shoes (ONLY my white lace-up tennies) and ran out the door.
My life has been about the same ever sense and the story tells it all. I do what I want, remember the important things, and never leave a friend behind. There might be a few spicy adventures and life-changing experiences in there but in all reality, this folks, is just about all you need to know about me.
You're welcome.

Summer.
Summer: noun. the warmest season of the year from June to August.
My definition of summer: freshly cut grass, the beach, camping, summer jobs, frozen yogurt, lemonade, ice blocking, the most spicy adventures, and heat. Lots and lots of heat.
Some say that summer is the time of relaxation and rejuvenation, but let's be honest, it better defined as the most hectic and exciting time of the year.
A few highlights from my summer:
Nannying
Visits to Grandma's house
Pinterest
Double baby shower
Samantha's 16th Birthday
Camping
REI tent sales
Late night craft sessions with Kayla
Runner at Smith, Larsen, and Wixom
Frozen yogurt
hang outs and goodbyes with friends
The Cosby Show
Many a library card fine
The Beach
